Nebespán is set on the charming square of Kašperské Hory, a small historic town in the heart of the mountains. Hotel with french charm
Boutique hotel Nebespán is located in the heart of Kašperské Hory, right on the picturesque historic square, just steps from the fountain and church. Our Art Nouveau building from 1907 has been carefully restored to preserve its beauty and timeless spirit.
We offer two types of unique hotel accommodation:
- Comfortable suites on the first floor – spacious (60 – 90m2) and elegant, with wooden floors and high ceilings.
- Stylish rooms on the second floor – featuring modern bathrooms with Spanish tiles and everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Whichever option you choose, our hotel ensures a perfect stay with rich buffet breakfast and attention to detail.
Restaurant Nebespán
Our boutique hotel includes a restaurant with excellent gastronomy, best described as a Šumava–French fusion. The renowned Gault Millau internationaů gastronomy guide has awarded us two toques.
Our head chef, Mikaël Rassineux from Lyon, is a young and talented chef who trained in 2* and 3* Michelin-starred restaurants. His priority is quality and freshness – we use only the best, where possible regional ingredients, prepared with care from start to finish.
We strongly believe that thanks to the gastronomy and wide offer of fine wines our hotel is truly unique. Savor a gourmet experience to remember.
Café & cakes
To make you feel truly at home in our hotel, we’ve created the comfort of a living room within our café and bar. Settle into a cozy armchair or relax by the fireplace, enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of coffee, and take time for yourself. Nebespán began in 2013 as a café, which is why you can still savor excellent specialty coffee with us today.
We also have our own pastry kitchen, where we use only real, high-quality ingredients. With desserts crafted by our pastry chef Káťa, you will feel like you’re in heaven.
Tip for you: enjoy your coffee, cakes or drink in our beautiful garden.
Nebeskrám - our artisan shop
Nebeskrám is a cozy part of our hotel that guests love to visit. You’ll find it right across from the restaurant and café. In the shop, we offer our homemade products, original gifts, and beautiful items from local craftsmen.
At weekends, we bake fresh croissants, our famous flammkuchen, and the French classic Croque Monsieur. You can also pick up fine cheeses, dairy products, homemade pasta, french saucissons, and other treats from nearby farms.
Tip for you: order a picnic basket full of our goodies – and we will guide you to the most beautiful picnic spots in Šumava.

Šumava national park
Šumava is a truly unique destination for a luxury holiday, often called “the green roof of Europe.” With its endless mossy forests, clear mountain lakes, and quiet trails where you can walk for hours without meeting anyone, it is a hidden gem in Europe.
The national park is ideal for hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing, or even family walks with a stroller. Around Kašperské Hory you’ll discover beautiful marked circuits, while our hotel will gladly provide tailor-made routes and personal tips for the best hidden spots.
For your inspiration, we’ve also prepared folders with our favorite trips throughout Šumava National Park, including the Bavarian side. Even after many years here, we are still finding new places to explore – and we’d love to share them with you.
About us
We are a family of four who left Prague for Šumava mountains back in 2002. In 2013 we finally opened our Boutique Hotel Nebespán.
With experience in hospitality and management, we knew one thing: great service is all about the details, and about the people who create the right atmosphere. That’s why we take care of our guests personally, together with just a few amazing colleagues.
Our goal? To make you feel at home, surprise you with new experiences, and make every stay worth remembering. From a comfy bed and quality bathroom to a rich breakfast with specialty coffee and excellent cuisine – just enjoy it all.
